Our first stop is a bird hotel, which has been there for centuries. The swiftlets bird nest been harvest for export to China. The Chinese believe it can cure a lot of illnesses.
We have lunch on the boat while slowly cruising out to Honey Moon Island. Where the name honey moon comes from is not really clear, some fishermen say that Moken couples spend their privacy here. Dip your toes into the soft white sand and stroll along the pristine beach.
We will spend some time snorkeling around Honey Moon Island, where all sorts of colorful fish are hiding. Afterwards we set over nearby 115 Island and take some time relaxing on the beach. In the afternoon we arrive at our camp on Nyaung Wee Island.

After breakfast we have enough time for a quick stroll around the village. We can visit a small Moken (sea gypsy) settlement and get to understand about their daily life. The Moken as people call the nomads in their local language have blended in to the current life style of the fishermen. In fact most of them are married to local Burmese nowadays. However we still can learn from them how life could be without bank accounts and paying bills.
Afterwards we head out for for Shark Island. The long white beach invites for some relaxing time and for those who are not beach bumps there is a lot of things to see underwater. Take your time to discover this unique underwater world.
We have lunch at Jar Ohn Bay, where we also will sleep in a homestay that night. Jar Ohn is part of Kyun Pila Island, one if not properly most beautiful island. Get some rest under a shady tree on this virgin island before we head out for more water action again.
Jar Ohn offers two bays for snorkeling. The Northern Site is a hard coral reef, where morels hide and frequently cuttle fish roam. The southern rocky shore is more the soft coral one with nemos. We have all afternoon for snorkeling. If you want to stay ashore and relax no problem for us we are flexible.
We recommend watching the sunset from the hilltop pagoda. It is a remarkable place with vast view into the Mergui Archipelago.

There is a mangrove forest, which we can enter for a bit to have a look around (optional).
On the way to Ma Kyone Galet Sea Gypsy village we drive through a mangrove forest, where we might can spot with a bit of luck hornbills and sea eagles.
Tonight we have to decide how comfortable you want to have your camp. Some customers ask us for the ultimate experience to just camp out without any facilities and we will follow the call into the wild if you like. Otherwise we will camp nearby a village again.
You might want to go for a swim at night to play around with the fluorescent waters, best seen during new moon.
