Day 1: Embark Myeik towards from Kyail Laik Island (-/L/D)
We pick you up in the morning (8:45 AM) from your hotel and transfer you to Seik Nge Jetty. We can also start the same day if you arrive with the first flight from Yangon (around 8:30 AM)
We will cruise pass Mergui Island. On the way in the mangrove forrest of the Tanintharyi river delta we can see some domestic shore birds. We continue towards Nat Thamee Island where we will stop for swimming.
Afterwards we continue towards Kyail Laik Island, also call Llyods Island. The island names are a bit confusing as during Colonial Times the British named the islands after important persons during that time. Who this Mr Llyod was is unknown until today. Now it is time for snorkeling and under water exploring. Take the kayak for a spin. We anchor here for the night as the bay is sheltered from the north-eastern winds. We serve dinner around sunset time with fresh seafood and vegetarian options. Feel free to have a night swim in fluorescent waters.
Accommodation: Private AC cabin
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
Day 2:Dana Theik Di Island via Bailey ISland to Smart Island (B/L/D)
Say good morning to the sun while waking up. Enjoy a fresh sea breeze while having breakfast on the boat. We will go to a snorkeling spot at Dana Theik Di island in the morning. Enjoy the clear and calm waters. Maybe we can spot some cardinal fish, nemos and surgeon fish. We continue to Baily Island, which might be the best snorkeling spot in the whole Archipelago. A big lagoon is waiting for you with plenty of snorkeling ahead. Have a look for the smaller stuff. Sometimes barracudas are hunting in this shallow waters. There are small black tip reef sharks on the southern rock side.
In the early afternoon we will arrive to Smart Island. We have a wonder over the island, which has a rocky stone beach on the other side. We continue to Thel Ni Aw Bay where we anchor for the night. We have the possibility to sleep in tent's during this night on the beach. A camp fire is provided. Please feel free to help us collecting fire wood. Don’t miss out on watching the clearest sky and the shiniest stars as there is no light pollution anywhere nearby.
Accommodation: Private AC cabin
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 3: TheL Ni Aw Bay - Myeik (B/L/-)
After breakfast and some swimming we cruise towards Dome Pale Aw Sea Gypsy village. There we can learn how simple life can be without bank accounts and insurance from the sea gypsies. The also called “Moken” people live on the sea during the dry season and only seek shelter during the heavy rainy season. We observe the small settlement without disturbing the people.
Relax while drinking a fresh coconut on the beach. Lunch will be served on the boat while cruising along. On the way back we have another swimming and refreshing stop near Grants Island. We reach back to Myeik in the later afternoon. We will transfer to your hotel.
