DIVE - Mergui Archipelago (6 Days / 5 Nights) -
17 or 18 Dives from Kawthaung

ROUTE

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1:  Embark form Ranong or Kawthaung (-/-/D)

Meeting time in our Dive Shop in Ranong at 12.00 (12:00 PM) where we will have time to try equipment before we go to our boat. Before departure comes the Thai emigration on board and will stamp us out of Thailand. Then the boat will take us to Kawthaung where we will get our visa for Myanmar (Islands only). In the afternoon we will depart to our first dive site High Rock.

Please note: For the customers to join us in Kawthaung we meet 14:30 (2:30 PM) at Myo Ma Jetty. We will bring your gear and some spares for testing.

DAY 2:  High Rock and Shark Cave - 4 Dives - (B/L/D)

After a good night rest, we'll start with easy diving for day at High Rock and Rocky 1. The sites are normally full of spot rays and cobia as well as a lot of small stuff hiding in the coral. It’s a good day to test your eyes! Here we can find all the special things like Pipefish, Pineapple Fish, Frogfish, Sea Horses and many different species of Nudibranchs.
The last two dives for first day are in Shark cave; one of the most famous dive sites of Mergui Archipelago. You will have very good chances to see more than one shark inside the caves. If you're lucky, you can spot manta ray, eagle ray, whale shark, grey reef Shark, Nurse Shark and big blotched sting ray at this dive site. Even if you are unlucky with the big stuff you still have chance to see ghost pipe fish, harlequin shrimps, frog fish, seahorse and gorgeous coral everywhere.

Day 3: North and South Twin & Panicle  - 4 dives - (B/L/D)

On the third day is pure adventure diving. We will go down three times in North Twin and pinnacles around North Twin Island and one dive in South Twin. The dive sites around twins islands usually offer the best visibility and the highest chance for pelagic. Chance to see manta ray, eagle ray, whale shark, grey reef shark, nurse shark, zebra shark and giant sea fans.

Day 4: Boulder Rock & Macleod Island - 4 DIVES - (B/L/D)

On the fourth day, 4 dives in The Arc, Boulder rock and Macleod island: dive sites are with absolutely amazing soft coral everywhere, colorful world with gliding spot for macro life: pineapple fish, ghost pipe fish, nudis. whale sharks are often seen in Boulder rock and the Arc is place for lobsters. Macleod Island is the best place for night dive.

Day 5: Seafan Forest Pinnacle & Western Rocky- 4 DIVES - (B/L/d)

The fifth day diving might be the finest diving on the trip. 2 dives in Seafan Forest Pinnacle, the dive site with a forest of beautiful giant sea fans where you have a very good chance to see some of the big stuff. And another 2 dives for that day are in Western rocky, one of the best dive sites in Burma. One of the highlights is a tunnel (cave) at 20 meters depth that goes all the way through the island. There are good chances of seeing Bowmouth Guitar Fish, nurse shark, grey reef shark, cuttlefishes, harlequin shrimps, frogfish and sea horses and a lot of lobsters.

DAY 6: Shark point & Secret Lagoon - 1 or 2 DIVES (B/L/-)

The last day diving. 1 or 2 dives in Shark point and secret lagoon depending on the timing. The dive sites are amazing, especially for colorful soft coral and the caves. There we have opportunity to see black tip sharks, tunas, snappers, stingray, turtle, rare and beautiful different species Nudi branches and many small stuff. After the last dive the boat will be heading back to Kawthaung (arrival around 1 PM) where there will be opportunity for shopping

But remember we are divers and on the boat ourselves – we will for sure give you the best options of the day in any condition.
