ITINERARY

Day 1 - Breakfast at Loung Lone's local market  - Dawei's Agriculture
Day 2 - Explore other Fishing Villages and Beaches around Dawei Point
Day 3 - Return to Dawei along a beautiful cliff road

Leave the noise of the city behind you and get out in to the colorful country side. Claim your own beach and forget about everything. Explore the beautiful Dawei Peninsula on good paved roads. Take a smile and a handshake from curious locals. Let the waves of the ocean take you to sleep.

Day 1: Loung Lone Market and Dawei PEninsula (B/L/-)

If you like we can skip the hotel breakfast to get an early start and have a traditional breakfast at the local market (included). On the way we stop every now and then and take a look at the agriculture products being farmed on the Dawei Peninsula. We will drive pass rice fields and rustic villages until we arrive at a very tiny village for a walk to a secluded bay. It depends on the tide which beaches we are going to, some are only accessible by foot, others we can drive to. If possible we take the most beautiful one with ability to snorkel.

Our trip continues after a local lunch (included) towards Dawei Point. After driving along a cliff road with magnificent views over the ocean we arrive at accommodation in the afternoon. Now it is time to unwind and relax. Enjoy a sundowner and a delicious seafood dinner.

DAY 2: Around Dawei Point (B/L/-)

After breakfast we drive to a small fishing village Nyaung Byin where we get to know about the daily life of the fishermen. Two of the main products, which are produced here is dry fish and fish paste. Depending on the tide we will go for a ride along a 4 kilometer beach stretch with turquoise waters and sand so fine that you can here it.

Lunch we will spend in even smaller fishing village with curious locals watch you and kids giggling away.

We wait until the heat settles and continue a trip along the coastal cliff road towards Shin Maw Pagoda. This is one of the the 9 Shin Pagodas, pilgrims pray at all 9 of them to get good luck. We watch a magnificent sunset from here. Afterwards we return to our bungalows.

DAY 3: Say good Bye Return to Dawei (B/L/-)

After breakfast and a last swim we pack our stuff together and head back towards Dawei. On the way we stop at a brick factory and learn who bricks are made (seasonal). Getting closer to the city the toddy palm trees become more and more. Toddy palm juice is used for cooking and making alcohol. We can have a taste of the local brew and explain how it is made. In the afternoon arrive back in Dawei.
